INTERCESSION FOR THE CHURCH AND NIGERIA

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

The Church are the people whom God have called. And like one of my sisters shared, that the Church is gradually swaying away from their first love.
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

God has good intentions for Nigeria, he wants to heal our land. But who is standing in the gap? Who is interceding for the Church?

The Church needs to humble herself and return to her first love, rather than arguing doctrinal issues (which is quite good, but it's causing strife and division in the body of Christ) and nourishing herself, leaving others outside the building (or the body) to starve from the basis, which is LOVE

Colossians 3:14 NIV
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, [21] that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. [22] I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one--- [23] I in them and you in me---so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Now, if the Church can believe that we are one in Christ; that's HUMILITY. Then we can pray with one faith in Christ.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

... then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

That's it! So let's deal with the root cause—let's pray for the Church, so that there would be oneness, then we can intercede effectively for Nigeria.

Just within a week, more than 200 people were killed in Plateau state. And there was a fire outbreak in Lagos.

These are issues the Church needs to face.
My heart weeps for a change!

ARISE! O YE PRAYING BRETHREN AND INTERCEDE FOR THE CHURCH AND NIGERIA!
